When I started teaching…I dropped out of school

I just knew and felt this was for me.

No one believed me, or in me at the time.

I would teach yoga during the week and work at the bar/ club on the weekends… insanely contradicting but that’s what helped me pay the bills and sign up for trainings.

“Go back to school, you’ll never make it just doing this.”

If I could tell you how many times I almost broke.

How many times life brought me to my knees and said “girl you sure?!”

I am proud to say I have pulled myself up from depthssss.
Over and over again and again.
Broken heart.
Broken body.
Broken spirit.

Before the pandemic I was teaching 20-30 classes a week 6 or 7 days a week.

I was ready to say they were right…. and then magic happened.

All the energy and faith that i put in and banked, all the times it never came back to me.. it finally did.

I worked for it, I will continue to work for it.

The work now is different- and you never really arrive. There will always be work.

This is all to say.. believe in yourself, block out all the external voices and opinions.. because most of the time it’s not that you are not good enough or not ready… it’s that this world is not ready yet for you!

Stay the course.
Do what you gotta do.
Slow down.
