The DEDICA 2023 YTT
This month I'm giving you a little sneak peek into what it's like to attend my 200 hr YTT.
Each morning of training we open our day with a juicy 2hr practice.
Truth be told these practices are my favourite, we have so much time to breathe, feel, understand and ease in.
Don't be intimidated by the time, trust me it flies by and doesn't feel like two whole hours.
This collection of classes is best suited for those who feel comfortable on their mats and are ready for a deeper experience. Given to the amount of time we have in these practices we hit all aspects of our practice: foundations and modifications, heart openers, backbends, inversions, arm balances, standing postures, and more.

MORNING WAKE UP 1: Slow stretchy integral vinyasa
This two hour practice is is slow yet strong and leaves you lots of time to ease into your body and each posture. Open your hips, hamstrings and spines. Enjoy taking your time, moving with intention and deeping your understanding of foundational postures.
Vibe: Slow, Stretchy, Strong

MORNING WAKE UP 2: Energizing Power Vinyasa
Get ready for a little heat! This vigorous power vinyasa will fire you up with a strong focus on core & foundational postures. Refine your planks, chatturangas and warrior postures while building your internal heat with creative sequences that move and invigorate you. This class will leave you feeling both rinsed and strong.
Vibe: Power Vinyasa
Tempo: Moderate/ Moving

MORNING WAKE UP 3: SLOW & DEEP FLOW
This class is very slow, very deep and very restorative. If you want to feel stretched and relaxed this is the class for you! Enjoy this super slow and stretchy vinyasa and gradually moves you to open each part of your body. We work to deeply release the shoulders, spine, neck, hips, hamstrings and front body. This is truly one of my favourites! Take your time!

MORNING WAKE UP 4: Breaking down the details
This practice is slow yet very strong and integral. During this class we focus on chatturanga and updog and how the contribute to bigger postures such as arm balances and inversions. There will be some moments for you to stop and watch as I break down elements of these postures and describe the how and why. As always, you will feel strong, stretched and invigorated.

MORNING WAKE UP 5: Feel Good Vinyasa
This is really my favourite kind of class to teach. We move fast, we move fun and we do it all to feel really really good! When I think of my signature class, this is it. Core, Inversions, stretch and strength. There is lots of time and opportunity to work on your “fun postures” like inversions and arm balances.

2 Hour Ultra Chill Vinyasa with Jesse Barlow
I have had the honour of knowing Jesse as a friend and mentor for over a decade. We actually met when I was attending my very first 200hr ytt, all those years ago! Jesse has such an immense wealth of knowledge on so many aspects of this practice, and I knew he needed to be there by my side for the very first Dedica Ytt. Jesse is a calm and grounding force and his classes and teachings very much reflect that. I am so excited to be able to give all of you the opportunity to practice with him because it is truly such a treat. This class is an ultra slow, ultra grounding practice. There is an emphasis on hips, hamstrings and low back stretching. Enjoy!
